Tracing your lineage is not an 'exact science'. There is no guarantee that the information you are looking for can be found at this time. Your family tree information is pieced together by looking for and finding documents proving their existence such as birth, marriage and death records, census records, wills and probates, phone books etc. These records are not always available (through damage, loss or not yet indexed) or may be recorded incorrectly.
I do my best to find your ancestors records and information by looking through a multitude of researching sites to find the records providing proof of your ancestors' lives. I always give you images of the records and information I find or explain the assumptions and reasoning behind information that is not directly backed up with documented proof.
Most family lines can be traced back to the early 1800's and I can usually prove lineage back to this time. Most records become more vague and are not usually sufficient evidence before this.
In my researching, I sometimes find other distant relatives researching the same lines as yours and can share their information and contact details with you.
I do not order certificates or records from any government on your behalf. I am able to do this if you require but you will be responsible for this extra fee.
Because I am so passionate about helping people research their own trees, I often given advice and am happy to share how you can record your own family tree. These ideas and suggestions can save you money as you will be able to do the work that you have asked me to do. If you prefer for me to do it all for you, I comply to your wishes with the deluxe service.
